We Roman's loved to decorate our houses. Mosaics have been found everywhere that the we went. Sometimes they were on the floor, sometimes we put them on the walls. Then there were the wall paintings ... frescos they were called. Click on the tile and we'll show you some.
We had our own way of writing numbers. It was VERY different from the way in which you write them. Click on Caesar's bust and you'll find a ROMAN NUMBERS MACHINE.
We took our gods and goddesses with us wherever we went. We had a LOT of them. We made up stories about them, we used to pray to them when we wanted something special. Click on Neptune, the God of the sea, to learn more.
