You can use the Internet with very young children. Here are sixteen stories and activities that we have found whilst searching for treasure. They all require either Flash or Shockwave. They are all FIRST CLASS links. We did find a lot more, but these are the very best.

I like Cinderella. This version is published by the BBC and is one of a series of stories from the Cbeebies collection The story of the Rupee Tree, tells of the value of hard work.
It is beautifully illustrated in Hindu style.
A Welsh Snapdragon is your opponent in a classical game of snap. A simple activity from BBC Wales. BBC Wales presents a well-illustrated version of the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. There are some lovely "voices"

Steven Seagull visits the Lancashire seaside town of Morecambe. Children help him pack, selecting the most useful objects to put in his all too small backpack and off he flies to meet his cousin. Most settings will have one or two of Dick Bruna’s books on the bookshelf.

Appearing at the Toy Theatre is the Puppet Pianist. Children click  to make a puppet play notes of different pitch. When they have completed their masterpiece there is a simple playback routine. After going to the toilet you need to wash your hands. But exactly how do you wash your hands?

This friendly Australian Rabbit called Joe has lost his Broccoli. Children must help him find it. They press the arrow keys to control Joe’s search through a garden maze. Mixy is a rather scruffy purple Australian rabbit with an unusual taste in clothes. Children are invited to be creative in helping Mixy choose her clothes for the day.

With your mouse acting as sheepdog your task is to herd sheep into the pen. If you get too close at the wrong moment the sheep will escape!! Can you get all eight sheep in the pen? Magic!! Here's the story of how the Teddy Bear got its name. Historical photographs and animated drawings tell the story of Theodore ( Teddy ) Rooseveldt’s hunting trip. Here is just a sample from the Little Red Ship range of resources. The story of the Little Red Ship tells about getting lost in the fog and being rescued by a friendly lighthouse. Make a Mr Man or Miss.

Choose a body shape, eyes, hats, hands, gloves etc … even a body colour to make your own Roger Hargreaves character.
