Here's Offenbach. He's one of my favourites. He writes Operettas ... funny operas with spoken bits ... Have a listen to a little bit of Orpheus in the Underworld. I think you will recognise it!

Sir Arthur Sullian

Sir Arthur Sullivan and William Gilbert wrote 14 musical plays together. The tunes were fun and the words were funny. Victorians loved them. Here are samples of three of the plays.
